Blind Faith

He told me I was a fool and another dreamer
I nearly believed him for a while
he'd give an opinion with such conviction
I assumed that he was right
now I know, I'm in control
but I could have been taken over
I was all mixed up about love
now I've taken back my trust
compromise, and sacrifice
without ever being taken over
we were guaranteed they'll never keep
wake up never losing sleep
Faith is blind
when you wanna find yourself
it's your life so don't leave it
in the hands of somebody else
